One year ago today, the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional a key provision of the Defense of Marriage Act that prevented married same-sex couples from receiving the same federal benefits as married opposite-sex couples. The ruling, in a case brought to the court by lesbian widow Edie Windsor, is considered a major advance for LGBT rights.
3. NBA draft tonight

4. GoPro IPO prices at $24, set to trade this morning
GoPro, the maker of portable video cameras popular with extreme-sports fans, sold its shares to initial investors late Wednesday, clearing the way for trading to start Thursday morning under the symbol GPRO. Shares of GoPro were sold to initial investors at $24 a share, Renaissance Capital says. That is at the high end of the expected price range of $21 to $24 a share.
5. Tiger Woods returns to the green
Woods, who has not played competitively since undergoing back surgery on March 31, will tee it up later today in the Quicken Loans National at Congressional Country Club to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation.
