AMBER ALERT: Missing VA boy in "extreme danger"

TRICK COUNTY, VA (WJHL) - The Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an Amber Alert for a child who has been abducted and is believed to be in "extreme danger".

The agencies are assisting the Patrick County Sheriff's Office with finding for 3-year-old Tommy Lee Able Engle. The little boy is described as around 3 feet tall and weighing around 35 pounds. He is said to have blue eyes and short blonde hair.

According to CBS affiliate WJHL, the child was last seen at 367 Oak Hill Lane in Critz, VA and is believed to be with his father 34-year-old Tommy Lee Travis Engle.

The father is described as a white man standing around 6'03" and weighing about 200 pounds.

The father may be armed with AK-47 and in possession of ballistics vest. Has made suicidal threats and homicidal threats towards law enforcement, according to police.

The pair may be traveling in a 2000 or 2001 navy blue Dodge Neon bearing a Virginia tag with "WNZ9169".
