Washington, D.C. -- Dollar General is recalling about 9,600 toy guns because orange tips at the end of the barrels -- designed to distinguish the toy from a real gun -- can be removed and pose a choking hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said today.
The recall covers "Special Forces Weapons and Accessories" and "SWAT Police Equipment" sets made in China and sold in Dollar general stores last September and October.
Consumers are asked to return the sets to and Dollar General store for a refund or replacement.
