Lowry Park Zoo

In honor of Independence Day, on July 3 & 4, any active duty, activated, retired or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman is entitled to free admission to the Zoo. Must present a valid military/service photo I.D.*
Plus, on July 4th (during select 30 minute intervals) military members and their families are invited to take their photo with a Bald Eagle. One free 4" x 6" print will be given to each military family. **

10:00am parade, 6:00p -9:30p Festivities including food, beverages, enteratinment by MASQUE, and FIREWORKS! The Chamber has stepped forward again and is asking you, the community, to "LIGHT UP THE SKY" by making a donation to offset the cost of the fireworks, a longstanding Temple Terrace tradition. All donations are greatly appreciated. The first 200 who donate $100 or more will receive a 3'x 5' American Flag with a 6' pole and an "I Helped Light Up the Sky" yard sign for their home or office. Congratulations to Doug and Nancy Winton who were the first to step up to the plate with their donation.

The festival is free and will feature the Mostly Pops Orchestra with John, Mary K. and Paul Wilson, a fantastic fireworks display, vendors, children's activities, and food and drink concessions. Gates open at 4 p.m., the Mostly Pops Orchestra begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. No alcoholic beverages, glass containers or bottles, umbrellas, canopies, pets or personal fireworks allowed. Outside food, coolers, and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted for July 4th ONLY.

St. Petersburg, The Pier & North Straub Park

Fireworks at 9pm
Activities and music at North Straub Park and The Pier throughout the day. A world renowned sand artist will create a patriotic sand sculpture from 40 tons of sand which will be near the Plaza (north end) of North Straub Park. The artist will begin work on Friday, July 2 in the afternoon and will finish on July 4th.

The Tampa Attractions Association is proud to host its 9th Annual Fireworks Celebration in the Channel District on July 4, 2010. The fireworks will be launched off a barge in the Garrison Channel at 9:00PM.
Experience one of the city's favorite Fourth of July Celebrations with a front row view of our spectacular fireworks from Channelside Bay Plaza as well as the Florida Aquarium, American Victory Ship, Yacht Starship, Cotanchobee Park, the Marriott Waterside, Harbor Island, the St. Pete Times Forum, and Bayshore Boulevard. This exciting event is great way to gather up the family and head down to the Channel District where there is plenty of entertainment including $10 admission to the Florida Aquarium after 3pm, Family Funfest and Dragon Boat races aboard the American Victory Ship, free admission to the Tampa Bay History Center and so much more. Dining is available on the Yacht Starship, at the History Center's Columbia Cafe, or at one of Channelside Bay Plaza's unique and compelling restaurants. Channelside will also be hosting live music, fun, and of course fireworks at 9:00pm!
Parking will be available in Channelside, but spots will fill up quickly so event goers are encouraged to also utilize Tampa's TECO Line Streetcar. Another way to quickly get to the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration is the Selmon Expressway - the most efficient roadway for many in the Tampa community. What an exhilarating way to spend the 4th of July than experiencing all that downtown Tampa has to offer with this free, family friendly event!

Tampa, The Florida Aquarium
Sunday July 4, 3:00pm-9:30pm
See dazzling displays in the sky and sea this July 4th at The Florida Aquarium! Get in for only $10 after 3 p.m. and watch the fireworks over the channel. Fireworks will take place at 9 p.m. and we will extend our hours to 9:30 p.m. We invite you to bring the whole family to soak up the fun at Explore A Shore and have a blast! Admission price for all ages.
This 72-foot powered catamaran departs the Aquarium at 7 p.m. for an intimate sunset cruise and returns to the Channel for the most amazing view of fireworks - boat side! Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine in air-conditioned comfort or sit on the 2nd floor deck and relax with the bay breezes and unobstructed views of the Tampa skyline as the backdrop for the fireworks.

4:15 watch the Dunedin Blue Jays game, half price tickets $3 Kids under 13 are free and get a free Blu Jays Jersey until 6pm. Live concert after the game and admission is free after 6pm for everyone. Brandon Blast, Westfield Mall

Hosted by the Greater Brandon Community Foundation, the Brandon Blast is an annual fundraising event that takes place on 4th of July at the Brandon Westfield Town Center. The event pays respect to our service men and women currently serving and our veterans. Brandon Blast is a patriotic event including a Fireworks Celebration on 4th of July with live music, food and a kids area with inflatables slides with water and various activities. Bring your whole family to this fun and exciting event to benefit the charities of Brandon!

Sparklebration, Pasco County Fairgrounds

The 2010 Miss Sparklebration will be in attendance, and tons of carnival food will be available at the "All American Food Court" Bounce houses, a petting zoo, slides, and carnival games will be available for the kids. Magicians, face painting, and pony rides will also be on location all day. Watermelon, apple pie, and hot dog eating contests will bring out the competitive eaters in everyone. There will even be an Elvis impersonator and a one-man circus! After the band leaves the stage at 9:15pm, expect a fireworks show you won't forget! $3 for adults kids 10 and under are free

Safety Harbor, Main Street and Safety Harbor Marina

The annual parade will be held along Main Street at 10:00 a.m.
Come hang out at the waterfront of Safety Harbor Marina at 5:00 p.m. for live entertainment from 3 live bands before the big fireworks display at 9 p.m. A family zone area will be set up on the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa property with arts and crafts, miniature golf, and a moon walk. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. and the best viewing area will be on the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa property and at the Marina. Entrance is at the gate at the upper part of the marina.

Bradenton Beach
July 2nd - July 4th
We will kick off this Fourth of July weekend at The Mar Vista Restaurant on July 2nd for the 2nd Annual Mar Vista Fireworks Boom-Boom on the Bay! Come by boat, by car, or by any means you can - just get there - because we will be lighting up the sky with a fireworks show that will surpass all others. Continue your Fireworks Fun at the Fireworks Extravaganza on July 3rd at the BeachHouse. We can honestly say that the BeachHouse has this celebration down to an art - an art 17 years in the making. Treasure Island Beach Blast, Behind the Bilmar Hotel
Friday - Sunday July 2-July 4th
A great place to catch one of the biggest light shows on the beach. This year's event includes live music both Friday and Saturday. For $10, you can park right on the beach. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. on July 4th. There will also be arts, crafts, food, and drink - everything will be going down right on the beach, behind the Bilmar in Treasure Island.

Redington Shores, County Beach Park
July 4th at dusk
Situated in the heart of the beach communities, Redington Shores has an expansive beach and is famous for its long pier. Should be a great view for the fireworks show!

Madeira Beach, City Recreation Park
Sunday July 4th at dusk
Promising a traditional show ending in a spectacular finale of lights, this event is expected to have a duration of 20 to 30 minutes during which 3,938 rounds of premium display fireworks will be set off. The display will be fired from the city recreation park on Rex Place next to the City Hall complex.

Sarasota, Bayfront Park
Sunday July 4th, fireworks at 9:00pm
The 4th of July Fireworks in Sarasota starts at dusk over Sarasota Bay at Bayfont Park, which should fall around 9:00 p.m. Admission is free, but The Florida Center for Child and Family Development will gratefully accept donations of cash, books, toys, diapers and wipes for newborns through eight years of age. The donation drop points are located at Island Park, Marina Jack, and the Municipal Auditorium.
