Inverness, Florida- The murder of a 57-year old woman in Citrus County has taken a shocking new twist with the arrest of the victim's long time boy friend now wanted on a 30 year old arrest warrant from Palm Beach County.

The suspect known in Citrus County as Bob Jay Parsons was charged with second degree murder in the death of 57 year old Arlene Preg after deputies found him covered in blood parked in a wooded area.

He was taken into custody, but detectives could not find any record of Parsons' past. There was no birth certificate, no social security number, or Drivers License information on file for his name and birth date.

But when investigators ran Parsons' finger prints they discovered their suspect wasn't named Parsons at all. Instead he'd been living with an alias name for over 30 years. His real name was Jon Good, and when investigators ran that name, they discovered he was wanted out of Palm Beach County for the 1979 murder of his then girlfriend 29-year old Charlene Nelson.

According to an archived article from the Palm Beach Post, Nelson was declared missing after she failed to pick up her young son from daycare. Days later her body was found stabbed to death in her home in Lake Park, Florida.

Good was charged with the murder but disappeared and hadn't been seen in over 30 years. His arrest last week in Citrus County put an end to the 30 plus year mystery.

He remains behind bars in the Citrus County Jail. Detectives in Palm Beach County have been made aware of the new developments.
