Spring Hill, Florida - We're learning much more about a DUI suspect who is accused of dragging a Pasco County Sheriff's Office deputy who was trying to arrest her. 21-year-old Brittany Miles is accused of taking off and then slamming into a 66-year-old motorcyclist Tuesday morning.

Several neighbors at the apartment complex where Miles lives at Bridgewater Club Loop in Spring Hill say she has a drug problem and struggles to pay her bills.

One of her neighbors, who doesn't want to reveal her identity, says Brittany seemed to be spiraling out of control. She says, "She had money problems, she did drugs, she was a stripper and she changed her clothes outside."

The woman says Brittany Miles didn't have electricity in her apartment and oftentimes came outside barely dressed.

10 News spoke with a manager at the Brass Flamingo strip club at 9034 U.S. Highway 19 in Port Richey where Miles works as a dancer. He says she left the club when they closed Tuesday morning around 2 a.m. The incidents involving Miles happened five hours later.

Mike Johnson says he checked with the night manager, who says Miles didn't appear to be drunk when she left. He says they fire dancers on the spot who do drugs.

Meanwhile, in another community of Spring Hill, there's shock and sadness over the life Miles is accused of taking. Henry McCain leaves behind a wife.

Neighbor, Dennis Camacho says, "I want to go send a card and let her know if there's anything that she needs because, you know, I'm pretty sure she might need some help around the house with what her husband used to do. It must be really sad. I can can only imagine, God forbid, if something happened to me. I mean, my wife...it would be very hard for her."

Dorothy Mendola used to live next door to McCain. She says it's a shame. "It makes me feel bad because I know he was a nice man."

Mark Enix, also a biker, says at first his wife thought he was the victim since he rides just about everywhere and was heading to work around the same time McCain was killed on his motorcycle. For him and his wife, the news hits close to home. "She just called really quick to make sure it wasn't me. You know, it's sad."

Brittany Miles is facing several charges including homicide. Less than three weeks ago, she was arrested on a drug charge.

The deputy injured in the incident is Ashley Grady. She is expected to be okay.
