Orlando, Florida - Legal analysts describe it as a sordid tale amidst a troubled family.

The dysfunction of the Anthony family, the defense claims, is the basis of its case.

Lead Defense Counsel Jose Baez has long since claimed that there was sexual abuse in Casey Anthony's family, namely at the hands of her father, George, and brother, Lee.

A paternity test was performed on Lee at one point.

It was negative, but the defense brought it up briefly in front of the jury to "plant the seed of abuse," according to some legal analysts who are watching the trial closely.

Baez maintains that Casey was sexually abused as a child and taught to lie throughout her life to keep up appearances of a normal existence, when in fact, she felt anything but normal on the inside.

The foundation of Baez's case is based on the fact that they say Caylee drowned in the family swimming pool on June 16, 2008 and that George Anthony helped to get rid of the body.

Enter Krystal Holloway, a brunette with tan skin and long, thick hair.

She claims to have had an affair with George Anthony, Casey's father, after becoming close to him during the search for Caylee in the summer of 2008.

Holloway has now been subpoenaed to testify in her ex-lover's daughter's murder trial.

Orlando station WKMG interviewed Krystal Holloway and discussed Baez's opening statements where he outlined the affair.

Holloway says she did not appreciate being referrerd to as what she calls a "scapegoat."

Baez said during his opening statements, "They became close. They started dating. [George and Krystal] had an affair, whatever you want to call it."

Krystal Holloway outlined the affair to WKMG reporter Tony Pipitone, saying that she had an intimate relationship with Geroge.

However, when Holloway first talked with detectives, she denied the affair with George.

But now, she says, she's ready to come clean and talk about it.

"I'm ready to hold my head up high," she said in an interview with WKMG.

Holloway does not believe the defense's accusations that Casey's father helped to recover Caylee from the family pool.

Baez outlined those details during his opening statements and told the story that George "held the baby's body" after Caylee drowned in the water.

Holloway has been forthcoming in saying that George told her that Caylee's death was "an accident that snowballed out of control," the same language used during opening statements by Baez.

Holloway says if she testifies, she will confirm the defense's theory that Caylee's death was an accident.

Normally, if witnesses take the stand and testify, they can not talk about what someone told them.

It would be considered hearsay.

Holloway's testimony will be allowed, some legal analysts say.

George Anthony has testified under oath that he was not involved in Caylee's death.

Holloway has also stated that she does not believe the sexual abuse theory put forth by the defense that Casey was repeatedly molested as a child.

George's admitted mistress told WKMG that she realizes what she did was"wrong" in having an affair with George since he was married.

She says she is willing to admit what she did in front of the world and live with it.
