AMBRIDGE (KDKA) - A Beaver County man is facing charges after allegedly threatening his wife with a garden tool and destroying their home's living room.
According to the Beaver County Times, 51-year-old Fred Poore II is facing charges of aggravated assault and simple assault. Police were called to his 18th Street home in Ambridge on Tuesday afternoon.
The Beaver County Times reports that police say Poore smashed items in the home with a garden hoe.
Authorities said Poore had allegedly been drinking, the Beaver County Times reports. His wife reportedly took refuge in their basement for three days. The couple's daughter called police.
According to the Beaver County Times, officials called to the home found the living room torn apart and the garden hoe broken into three pieces.
