New Port Richey, Florida -- A Pasco County high school teacher is under arrest, accused of driving under the influence.

39-year-old Crystal  Evelyn Blatchley is a teacher at Gulf High School. Pasco deputies say they received a call from a motorist on Wednesday night, alerting them of a person driving erratically.

A deputy responded and pulled over Blatchley for failure to maintain a single lane.  Her arrest report states she showed signs of impairment, including glassy eyes, constricted pupils and slurred speech.

Blatchley reportedly failed several field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest on one count of DUI. A urine sample was collected for testing.

According to Gulf High's website, Blatchley is a math teacher who has been at the school since 2010.  She previously taught at Hudson High School, as well as schools in Mississippi and Louisiana.
