Tampa, Florida -- Repairs were made to a possible sinkhole that shut down part of Sligh Avenue in Tampa Friday afternoon.
Hillsborough deputies shut down Sligh Avenue between 50th Street and Wildwood Drive for a period of time to investigate and repair the hole. Initial reports indicated it was five to six feet in diameter in the roadway.
Shortly after 4 pm, the repairs were completed and all lanes of traffic were reopened.
