TAMPA, Fla. - Here are five things you can do with your family, especially those who may be visiting, around the Bay area this Holiday weekend.
For those escaping the cold weather, the beaches in Pinellas County are a must.
Also, the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo is hosting its annual Holiday Lights Show. The cost is $2 per person and children under 12 are free. The Gardens will be closed on Dec. 25, but on other days the Holiday Lights Show is open from 5:30-9:30 p.m. through Jan. 1.
Ice skating is still going on at Curtis Hixon Park in Downtown Tampa. Admission is $10 per person for a 90-minute skate. The rink is open on Christmas and runs through Jan. 1.
Lowry Park Zoo is holding their Wild Wonderland. It's complete with reindeer, a light show, and rides. The cost is $13 for adults and $11 for children 3-11 years old. The zoo is closed Christmas Day. You can catch the reindeer, though, on Dec. 26-30 from 6:30-10 p.m.
Over at North Straub Park in Downtown St. Pete, there are lots of lights to see. The lit park is open Christmas Day and through Dec. 31.
