Casey Anthony has popped up on YouTube in a "video diary" to discuss her "surreal" life in the six months since she was acquitted of murder charges in the death of her toddler, Caylee, in a sensational Florida trial.

"It's just a little surreal how much things have changed since July and how many things haven't changed," she says, looking into the camera from behind a pair of sunglasses.

The video, available on YouTube, is also posted on the website of NBC's Today show. NBC News says it has confirmed that the person on the video is Anthony.

She discusses her new computer and venturing on the web with her video diary.

"I'm extremely excited," a now-blonde Anthony says in the video. "I'm excited that I'll be able to Skype and obviously keep a video log, take some pictures and that I have something that I can finally call mine," she says on camera. "It's been a long time since I've been able to call something mine."

Anthony, 25, does not discuss the trial or the death of her daughter, who was found in a wooded area near her home bound with duct tape.

Retired state prosecutor Jeff Ashton, who prosecuted the case, said this week in Sarasota that Casey Anthony "is the single greatest liar to have ever lived," reports.
