St. Petersburg, Florida -- The girl who gained national attention for a case of the hiccups that wouldn't stop was back in a Pinellas courtroom Wednesday morning.
Jennifer Mee, now 20, is facing a first-degree murder charge, along with two other men. They're accused of luring 22-year-old Shannon Griffin to a St. Petersburg house in October 2010, where was then robbed and shot.

On Wednesday attorneys for all three defendants told Judge Nancy Moate Ley that they've been trying to work out plea deals with the state. Nothing has been finalized.
If this case does go to trial, they want their clients tried separately. Trial date is currently set for February 7.

Mee first gained national attention in 2007 when she was unable to control her hiccups for five weeks. Her attorney says she is now heavily medicated to control those hiccups.
There was no mention of Mee's hiccups in court today.
