Outwit, outplay, and outlast.

In just a couple of weeks, the newest edition of "Survivor" premieres on 10 News.

Eighteen contestants will compete for the title of Sole Survivor.  This time around, the tribes will be divided by sexes but will share one camp.

And once again, a Tampa resident hopes to take home the title.

Monica Culpepper is a 41-year-old mother of three.  She is a stay-at-home mom from Tampa.

"I kind of laugh and call myself ringmaster," said Culpepper. "I have 50 hats in the air at all times. I'm the accountant, I'm the CEO, I'm the financial planner, I'm the tutor, I'm the social planner, I'm the gourmet chef...the housekeeper."

She's also the wife of former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Brad Culpepper, who now has his own law firm.

The one-time defensive tackle told 10 News his wife was gone for 50 days last week shooting the series.

"I wasn't worried about her safety," said Culpepper. "I was worried if she missed us or if she'd be lonely. I didn't want her to be taken advantage of from a psychological standpoint. I just worry about her as a competitor in the game."

To make sure she was prepared, Culpepper underwent a four-day "boot camp" at Anclote Key.

"I'm married somewhat to Tarzan and he wasn't about to let 'Jane" go off on Survivor until I could pass his test," said Monica Culpepper. "So we took the kids for a four-day weekend with no matches, and very little food and went off on an island off the coast of Florida and stayed. And it was unbelievably awesome. And I think it's an experience that my husband and my kids will never forget."

"Survivor: One World" premieres February 15 at 8:00 p.m. on 10 News.
