PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida -- A local woman says she took a picture of her television and in the image was a reflection she says clearly shows Jesus Christ praying.
Guerda Maurice says she used her phone to take a picture of something she saw on the television screen. She was watching the show the Bachelor and saw a design she wanted to capture, so she grabbed her phone to record the image.
"Then the phone didn't work, and I say oh my God, look what I did, now my phone don't work," Guerda told us.
The phone was dead until the next day.
"When the phone light up, I say oh my God."
What did she see?
"I flip the phone now and I see Jesus picture. I said, oh my God where did that picture come from? I said, this is Jesus, and I was shaking."
Guerda sent the distorted image to her sister.
"I said Ann guess what? Jesus appeared to me in my phone. And my sister said 'no, that's not true.' I said yes Jesus appeared to me, and she said to me, Guerda you're crazy."
But the message to Guerda here was clear. Jesus is with her.
"This is Jesus right here."
He is everywhere.
"As long as you believe in him, his spirit is with everybody."
She engraved the image into a gold locket to remind her to have faith and wants others to know.
"All I want people to know is God is right there in your house. No matter what crisis you have, we all are children of God."
