Tampa, Florida --  Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn is inviting you to join him at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa to watch as he dyes the Hillsborough River Green!

He is celebrating the Inaugural Mayor's River O'Green Fest by turning the Hillsborough River green between the Kennedy and Cass Street bridges.

The dye goes in at 10 a.m., but the celebrations continue throughout the day at the park with live music, activities for the kids, food trucks, craft beers and even soccer playing dogs!

When events wrap up at 4 p.m., the Mayor will head over to Ybor City where he is the Grand Marshal for the Rough Rider's 17th Annual St. Patrick's Parade.

The parade starts at 8 p.m., kicking off at Nuccio Parkway and will travel along 7th Avenue in Ybor City.
