Seminole, Florida -- To say it's a pretty big deal would be describing it lightly. Out of more than 26,400 public schools in the U.S.  Most have marching bands, but only a select few are ever invited to march in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.

Seminole High Marching Band is one of them.

The Warhawk band accepted an invitation to march in the 2013 New Years Day parade after submitting an extensive portfolio and video package.

The Warhawks will be one of 23 bands to perform.  There were 455 entries.

They need some help getting there though.  A car wash to benefit the band's fundraising efforts is set for Saturday, April 21 at 10 a.m.

It'll take place at the Ace Hardware in Oakhurst Plaza on Oakhurst Road.  Donations made will entitle that person to a 20 percent coupon, good for that day, at Ace Hardware.

The band boosters will also be selling two grilled hot dogs, chips, and a drink for $4.
