St. Petersburg, Florida -- More than 50 companies will fill the Coliseum on Monday, open the doors and giving you a chance to get hired.

A week ago, hundreds of people lined up for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's job fair in Tampa.

Monday's fair at the Coliseum in St. Pete will have a range of employers, not just one. The Don CeSar Hotel, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, and Grow Financial Credit Union are all on the list.

Several of the vendors on the list are not employers themselves -- they're schools or training centers.

Here's what you need to know:

Tampa Bay Job and Career Fair runs Monday, April 23rd, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's at the Coliseum, 535 Fourth Ave. N., St. Petersburg.

There's no Pre-Registration. Come looking sharp in business attire and bring at least 20 copies of your resume.

How can you make that resume stand out?

Here are four tips for an attention-getting resume from our partners at CareerBuilder.com.

First, make it visually attractive. You're trying for a clean, refreshing, simple look. Have proper alignment, spacing, grammar, same-size fonts, clear fonts (not fancy), full-looking sentences after your bullet points.

Second, know how to catch a reader's eye. Remember, hiring folks will generally glance over your resume first, not read it start-to-finish.

So, when you format it, make sure that it's not going to be confusing or give somebody a headache when they pick it up -- they'll often give a resume a try or two, then just move on to the next one if they can't follow it.

Third, aim for clarity. One expert says "Think more 'fact sheet' than 'short story' when writing your résumé." Readers love clear data points in order to know your specific role in that past job.

But you also need to convey your specific impact -- how you made an impact in that job by improving sales or improving policies -- that sort of thing.

And finally, focus on achievement. You want to show off your most relevant skills and your greatest accomplishments.

That means including descriptions of honors or promotions, notes from a past performance-review that show your strengths, and other information about your achievements.
