TAMPA, Florida -- The violent mugging of a young soldier in Tampa earlier this week has gained national attention.
Surveillance video showing 24-year-old Army Staff Sergeant Johnny Aparico being punched and kicked has been seen by millions. It has been described as "heartbreaking" and "shocking."

Police are still searching for the men responsible, and now multiple rewards are being offered for information leading to their arrests.
"With the video, I realized how serious this is," said Winters & Yonker attorney Bill Winters. The local law firm has offered a $10,000 reward.
"I think it wasn't until your broadcast last night that I found out he was a soldier who was here at MacDill, and I thought that was pretty crazy. A real young guy coming here and getting hurt."

The longtime attorney says he doesn't want this kind of image for Tampa Bay, and he is hoping the reward money helps police catch the thugs who did it.
On Wednesday, Rev. Randy White and his Without Walls International Church also offered a $5,000 reward.
Police say citizens from Virginia and New Jersey have offered money as well. bringing the current reward total to $16,250.
