Greer, SC (Sports Network) - Australia's Cameron Percy fired a nine-under 62
on Friday to move atop the leaderboard after two rounds of the BMW Charity
Pro-Am.
Percy finished 36 holes at 13-under 130.
The tournament is staged on three South Carolina courses, which each person in
the field will play once over the first three rounds. The host course --
Thornblade Club -- will be used for the final round.
Because Thornblade is a par-71 course and the other two -- The Carolina
Country Club and Greenville Country Club -- are par 72s, scores vary in
relation to par.
Percy played Thornblade on Friday.
First-round leader Darron Stiles shot a three-under 68 Friday at Thornblade
and is tied for second place with Reid Edstrom and Aaron Watkins. Edstrom and
Watkins had six-under 66s in round two at The Carolina Country Club. The trio
is 11-under par, but Stiles has taken 132 strokes compared to the 133 for
Edstrom and Watkins.
Gene Sauers (66), Brent Delahoussaye (67), Robert Streb (68) and Andy Pope
(68) are knotted in fifth place at nine-under 134.
