FWC ground crews recovered Boston Bramlage's body (pictured in the brown shirt) one day after his family's plane went down in a heavily wooded area of Tiger Creek Swamp.
Lake Wales, Florida -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the body of missing plane crash victim 13-year-old Boston Bramlage was found in underbrush in a heavily wooded area at 2:20 on Friday afternoon.

Sheriff Grady Judd said in a press conference Friday Boston's body was found four-tenths of a mile from the wreckage of the plane that crashed Thursday in Lake Wales by FWC ground crews. He was located under some trees and his body would not have been visible from the air.
Judd went on to say that it appeared the boy was not strapped in the chair. As the plane was spiraling out of control he was likely thrown from the plane midflight after a wing snapped, causing a gaping hole in the side of the aircraft as it suffered from some sort of catastrophic event that led to the crash.
The Sheriff said they were extremely fortunate to find the boy's body as quickly as they did given the scope of the area.
"This is a tragedy of monumental proportion, and it breaks our hearts," said Sheriff Judd. "However, we are relieved that we were able to recover this young man so that the surviving family members can have some sort of closure."
On Thursday afternoon, the Pilatus PC-12 turboprop, single-engine plane with tail #N950KA went down in the area of Walk in Water Road and Jewell Lane in Polk County. It took crews over an hour to reach the plane. Officers were forced to get to the crash site on ATVs and medical staff were flown in due to the lack of accessibility in the area.
Investigators say the plane began to break apart before it crashed as parts of the plane could be found as far as 2 miles from the crash site in the Tiger Creek Swamp area. The plane was at about 26,000 feet when it began to experience problems, however, investigators do not know at this time what caused the crash.
