SEFFNER, Florida -- Two men are under arrest after deputies say they stole an ATM machine with a Caterpillar front-end loader.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says 36-year-old Robert Suggs and 28-year-old David Hall stole the front-end loader along with a GM dump truck at around 5 a.m. Sunday. They then allegedly used the front-end loader to haul away a drive-thru ATM at the Bank of America on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Seffner.

Investigators say Suggs and Hall then used the dump truck to take the stolen machine to a home on Williams Road in an attempt to conceal it.

The two made numerous attempts to remove money from the machine, but deputies say they were unsuccessful.

Late Sunday afternoon, the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office received information on the location of the stolen ATM. When deputies arrived, they say Suggs and Hall were still attempting to break into the machine.

The pair were arrested and charged with burglary of an unoccupied structure, grand theft of a motor vehicle, grand theft, and criminal mischief.

Authorities say the men caused about $1,000 in damage to the ATM.
