Tampa, Florida -- Interstate 275 is back open after a deadly accident shut the road down for hours Thursday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol says just before 3 a.m., a Ford Fusion was driving the wrong way on I-275 northbound, and hit a Ford Mustang near the I-4 interchange.
The driver of the Mustang, 20-year-old William Angel, died on the scene. Two of his passengers were taken to the hospital and are in serious condition.
The driver of the Fusion, 22-year-old Christopher Ponce, was also taken to the hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
