Venice, Florida -- A woman was hospitalized Tuesday after one of her dogs attacked her face while she was having a seizure.

Venice Police say 30-year-old Sarah Ziebro had a seizure and fell to the floor. Sam, her American bulldog, then repeatedly bit the woman's face, leaving her with life-threatening injuries.

Animal Services impounded the dog for quarantine, along with another dog that was not involved in the attack.
