WINDERMERE, Florida (WKMG) - An Orlando teen has been arrested after deputies say he broke into a $5 million Isleworth home and threw a house party for his underaged friends, causing $25,000 in damages.
Orange County deputies say Charles Fairchild Harding, 19, was caught by authorities throwing a party in a home listed for sale on Deacon Circle in the Isleworth community early Wednesday morning.
Isleworth security officers told deputies that Harding had created an "open list" to allow anyone into the property under his name. At least a dozen people were at the party, deputies said.
When the homeowner was notified of the party, she said she found holes punched into the walls, beer bottles into the dry wall and spilled beer all over the floors and carpets, according to the report. She told deputies she plans to press charges and that partygoers told her Harding was responsible for planning the party.
Deputies went to Harding's home on Giffin Court, where he was arrested just before 4 a.m. Wednesday. Harding told deputies that only 5 to 10 people were supposed to come to the party he threw for his friend who was going out of town, but the larger group of people showed up and it got out of control. He offered to pay for the damages to the property.
Harding has been charged with burglary of a dwelling and criminal mischief.
