Valrico, Florida-- Jamall and Sharonda Garrett have been arrested and charged with Felony Animal Cruelty after their dog, Bella, was found suffering from a severe case of Mange. 

Officials say an anonymous caller notified them of Bella's condition.

The Hillsborough County Department of Animal Services has taken custody of the year-old lab mix, and currently works to bring her back to good health.

According to the department's Community and Media Relations representative, Marti Ryan, Bella received a bath today for her infected skin, as well as fresh food and water.

Ryan says Bella is, "in pain, but responsive." 

Bella will likely leave the facility tomorrow to recuperate in a quiet, foster environment.
