Tampa, Florida -- Technology will be changing the way one school's students will learn this upcoming school year. Students and faculty in grades 5-12 at Tampa Academy of Holy Names received iPads at no extra cost Thursday.

The private catholic school was able to give the iPads because of a gift from the Bailey Family Foundation and two anonymous donors.

The iPads will be used as a note-taking platform in the classroom and administrators have no concerns that the iPads will be a distraction in the classroom.

3rd and 4th grade classes are getting the iPads as classroom sets. The school says they'll begin incorporating textbooks as they become available.
