Pinellas Park, Florida -- A woman was killed early Saturday morning after police say she was apparently run over by her boyfriend during an argument.
Pinellas Park Police say at this time their investigation revealed Belinda Thomas got into an argument with her live-in boyfriend, Luis Antonio Santiago at their home in the 8700 block of 60th Street N around 1:45 a.m.
During the argument, Thomas ran from the home and Santiago got into his car and hit Thomas in the road at 60th Street North and 82nd Terrace North. He then abandoned the car and fled on foot.
Thomas, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Around 6 o'clock this morning, the Pinellas Park SWAT team arrested Santiago, 48, at a home in the 4600 block of 83rd Avenue N.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
