HOLIDAY, Florida -- A 3-year-old boy nearly drowned in a community pool on Sunday.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, the boy's mother went to her car for a short period of time, leaving the child in the care of another adult.
When she returned, deputies say she and the other adult found her son floating in the pool. They pulled the child from the water, and the mother was able to revive him with CPR.
Deputies say the boy was conscious and alert, but was taken to a Bay area hospital as a precaution.
