Tampa, Florida -- New York Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda was arrested early Monday morning for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Pineda was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. on Manhattaven Avenue and Spruce Street. According to his arrest report, he was tested and had a blood alcohol content of .128 and .125. The legal limit is .08.
Pineda has not played for the Yankees in 2012, due to a shoulder injury.
