Isaac and Tampa Bay
We have dodged a bullet with Isaac as it remained far enough to our south and west that we have had only a moderate amount of wind and rain. A heavy batch of rain moved over last night dropping 1-2"+ of rain. We will continue to see scattered showers and isolated storms overnight. It will be breezy with winds 15-25 mph and gusts in the 30s... mainly in the rainbands.
A southerly flow takes over Tuesday bringing a humid airmass with showers and storms developing especially in the afternoon. Rain chance is 60% tomorrow, gradually dropping to 40% by the weekend.

Isaac did postponed the first day of activities for the Republican National Convention, however, the welcome party to be held Sunday evening at Tropical Field is to go on as scheduled.
Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said some outside agencies that had planned to send officers to help with convention security in Tampa might be forced to keep them home to deal with a storm.
"My primary concern right now is that we will lose resources," he said.
Isaac's impact elsewhere
Life is returning to normal in the Florida Keys after Tropical Storm Isaac.
Keys officials say there were no significant impacts from the storm and added that visitors could return to the popular vacation destination. Most of the power has been restored. State and county parks should be open by Tuesday.
But tourism officials encourage visitors to verify reservations.
Monroe County's emergency operations center will close later Monday, along with hurricane shelters in the area.
Key West International Airport planned to resume operations Monday. Schools were to resume classes Wednesday.
But the port of Key West will remain closed until the U.S. Coast Guard is able to complete a full assessment.
Officials hoped to inspect the port Monday, but officials say gusty winds are making that difficult.
