Land O' Lakes, Florida-- This morning activists from Code Pink held a protest, while at the same time, the National Rifle Association and Congressional sportsmen held a shootout competition.

It all went down at the Tampa Bay Sporting Clays in Land O'Lakes.
The activists are trying to get their message of gun violence across, calling their protest a vigil and die-in, to mourn the loss of lives to gun violence in the U.S., including Trayvon Martin and the people who died in the Aurora movie theater shooting.

The group is holding a number of other protests this afternoon at the Straz center in Tampa, and the Tampa Club on Kennedy Boulevard. They will also organize this evening at Centennial Park.
