Gulfport, MS -- Our sister station WBIR obtained amateur video of what appears to be a tornado that spawned from Tropical Storm Isaac in Harrison County, Mississippi.
WBIR reports that at the time the video was shot, a crew member heard a roar and saw swirling debris going much faster than the sustained wind. It also appeared to move in the opposite direction of the tropical storm winds.
Another tornado was spotted a few minutes later.
The video shows very strong winds moving a house that was under construction. A tornado warning was in effect at the time.
