Colorado Spring, CO - A wayward deer made quite a splash in Colorado Springs.

Scott Smith took this video sunday morning.  He says the big buck strolled in to the pool to cool off and was struggling to get out.

Fire crews came in to help and check out the ingenuity here.  They built a ramp out of plywood and were finally able to coax the deer out of the water.

The deer ran away, but Smith says there's about $2,500 in damage to the pool and the cover.
