Lakeland, Florida -- Sierra Johnson, the 17-year-old who was injured last weekend in a church van crash on I-4, has passed away.
Sierra and six others from the Journey Assembly Church in Bradenton were on their way to Orlando for a Christian rock concert when a tire on their vehicle had a blow-out and rolled over.

Sierra was a student at Manatee School of the Arts, an active member of her church who has been helping to raise her two nephews, and this year, she received the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award.
There's been no word yet on plans for a memorial service.
