Police investigate report of sexual battery at USF's Kappa Hall

Tampa, Florida -- University of South Florida Police officials are currently investigating a report of a sexual battery incident that allegedly occurred early Wednesday night in a dormitory on campus.

The female resident told authorities an unknown male sexually battered her in Kappa Hall around 6:50 p.m.

The victim described the suspect as a white male, ranging from 18 ro 22 years of age, standing 5' 8" - 6' tall, weighing 180 pounds with a muscular build and short black or shaggy brown hair.  The victim also said the suspect wore flip flops, dark green cargo shorts, and a dark gray t-shirt.  

The investigation continues.
