Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavilers guard Kyrie Irving and forward/center Anderson Varejao have been cleared for full participation in training camp, the team announced on Monday.

Irving, the reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, fractured a bone in his right hand after slapping a padded wall during a summer league practice in July.

The 20-year-old Duke product averaged 18.5 points and 5.4 assists per game last season.

Varejao fractured his wrist in a Feb. 10 game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 30-year-old native of Brazil led the Cavs in rebounding last season with an average of 11.5 boards per game.

Additionally, guard Daniel Gibson, who tore a tendon in his left foot in March, was cleared for "practice to tolerance" throughout training camp.
