Brooksville, FL-- Police currently work to recover a 2000 Dodge Dakota pick-up truck after it was stolen from a local dealership, and immediately sold to an "unknown party from Georgia", reports say.

On October 1, 19-year-old Christopher Joseph Cox test drove the pick-up truck at Paul Clark Enterprises, and made arrangements to purchase it later on.

Cox then left without returning the key to the ignition, and reportedly took it to have a copy made. He later returned back to Paul Clark Enterprises after business hours and stole the truck.

It was after he had the truck home that he sold it to the unknown party, reports say.

Police charged Cox with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, but the truck has yet to be recovered.

Police encourage anyone with information regarding the truck's whereabouts to contact the Brooksville Police Department at 352-540-3800.
