Raccoon with jar stuck on head gets help

Southfield, MI - A Raccoon with a jar stuck on its head finally got some help.

Crews tried to coax it down from a telephone pole, but it was too afraid.

The raccoon climbed down some, then got suspicious and climbed back up the pole.

Neighbors stood watch for hours as the raccoon hugged the pole and refused to come down.

Early Wednesday morning, the raccoon finally felt comfortable to climb down and was freed of the jar.
