Inverness, Florida -- A U.S. District Judge sentenced two people to a combined 61 years in prison for their roles in four armed robberies in Citrus County in 2011.
According to court documents, Inverness residents Aberlardo Coimbre and Anthony Calderon committed four separate armed robberies which included Inverness Liquor on Jan. 28; Bob's Liquor in Crystal River on Feb. 16; Express Lane Food Store in Floral City in Feb. 23 and Brad's Food and Gas in Inverness in Feb. 25.
Both Coimbre and Calderon pleaded guilty in August 2012 to two counts of possession of a firearm and armed robbery. Coimbre, 52, was sentenced to 32 years in prison. Calderon, 48, was sentenced to 29 years and 4 months in prison.
