Plant City, FL-- Hillsborough deputies have arrested two suspects after they broke into a Plant City home, shot three victims and beat a fourth with a gun Thursday night.

Officials say it was around 11:30 p.m., when 34-year-old Charles Smith and 19-year-old Joshua Coleman kicked in the back door of the residence, located on the 4000 block of Cooper Rd,. and turned violent towards those inside.

Upon arrival, deputies say they observed a maroon Mercury SUV quickly pulling out of the driveway. They followed the vehicle to a pasture, where it crashed through a fence and got stuck near a swamp area.

Reports say K9 deputies arrived on the scene, and ultimately tracked both suspects.

K9 Duece tracked Smith over one half mile to find him hiding under water with a semi-automatic pistol in his pocket, reports say.

K9 Duece then returned back to the SUV to track Coleman, who was also located under water, but in the opposite direction.

Duece and Deputy Perdomo apprehended Coleman, and discovered that he too had a semi-auto handgun on him.

All four victims, Andrew Burgess, 47; Toby O'Steen, 18; Rena Kinsinger, 42; Jesse Kinsinger, 18; were transported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues, but for now, both Smith and Coleman have been arrested.

Both of them have been charged with  Armed Robbery Home Invasion, four counts of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Felony Possession of a Firearm, Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Grand Theft,  and Resisting Arrest without Violence.
