Job Description:
This is a general laborer position performed in a manufacturing environment. The employee is expected to perform any function requested by management.
This position requires that material including glass be moved from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the glass/object throughout the plant.
Muscular, cardiovascular and upper/lower body manipulation is used to move the glass/object through the glass fabrication process (bending, twisting, and reaching). Gripping, cupping, clamping hand and wrist motions are required to support, carry, and maneuver glass/objects to platform heights of three feet in a manner considered safe for self and others. The on/off-loading of glass from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
Position requires standing and walking on a concrete floor while wearing steel-toed shoes for eight or more hours daily.
The "team concept" instituted for shop floor production workers requires each worker to perform different functions on a rotating basis. Therefore, all shop functions required by supervisors are considered essential functions for the job.

Background Screening Analyst - Eckerd
Purpose:
Responsible for performing Criminal Background Screenings and Diligent Search in accordance with Chapters 39, 63, 435 and DCF Policy. Serves as a important member of the Information Management (IM) team of the Community Based Care Data Services.
Duties:
- Performs Criminal Background Searches in accordance with Chapters 39, 63, 435, and DCF Policy.
- Responsible for intake and tracking of Criminal research/Diligent search requests and results with extreme accuracy.
- Determines the screening level requirements for each of the 10 individual types of requests based on type, case manager contact, DCF policy & Fl Statutes.
- Evaluates each case and based on findings, determine Permanent, 5 Year limit and non disqualifying offenses.
- Disseminates individual's criminal history by interpreting FCIC, CJIS, arrest reports and Court dockets, being fully versed in legal acronyms/abbreviations pertaining to Florida statute.
- Uses informed judgment skills in determining additional criminal resources needed for research, based on information gathered for specific cases.
- Contacts county, state, national & international law enforcement divisions to discuss and obtain the appropriate information, when clarification of criminal charges, adjudication or court docket progress is needed.
- Presents all findings with required documentation to requestors by comprehensibly explaining criminal/abuse charges, legal court dockets & probation history as necessary.
- Qualifies applicants for FBI fingerprint submission, scheduling appointments in Pasco/Pinellas, successfully obtaining the scans via livescan machine and transmitting to the FBI for review.
- Provides findings and substantive reasoning for Disqualified Licensing applicants to DCF-Background Screening, for use in Exemption Hearings.
- Performs full detailed address, criminal, child support, birth verification searches to locate absent parents and correspond with clients and outer-agency resources via phone, fax and mail for Diligent Search documentation, while following guidelines documented in FL Statute and DCF Policy.
- Produces a legally correct Affidavit of Diligent Search based on findings for use by the State Attorneys office and the Office of the Attorney General in TPR proceedings.
- Supports the project's QA function, QA data needs, and deadlines for reports and monitoring as they pertain to background screenings and diligent searches.
Position Requirements:
