SATELLITE BEACH, Florida (WTLV) -- Michael Dunn is still in custody at the Brevard County Jail awaiting transport to Jacksonville.
WTLV First Coast News cameras captured a moment of prayer among the 45-year-old's family and friends at their residence in Satellite Beach. The family did not want to comment, nor did neighbors who live at the Ocean Residence North townhouse complex.
Lt. Clifford Ferguson from the Brevard County Sheriff's office says Dunn was arrested Saturday morning on an out of county warrant from Jacksonville on murder and attempted murder charges.
He is believed to be the suspect who shot and killed Jordan Davis, 17, at the Gate gas station on Southside Boulevard Friday, all because of what police say was an altercation over loud music.
"They were putting up police tape and everybody was curious as to what happened. Everybody just heard someone had been shot and for a while, we weren't sure why. But then we ended up hearing it was over the music," says Tiffany Randle, a local worker.
But who is the man police believe killed in anger? On his LinkedIn profile, Michael Dunn lists himself as the Vice President of Software Development of Dunn & Dunn Systems Incorporated - a computer company in Vero Beach. On the site he lists the company as being the award-winning makers of a computer software called SpiritPOS. He also says he holds a private pilot license for Single Engine Land and Sea.
What he was doing in Jacksonville is still unclear, as JSO has not released any information on the victim or suspect in the case. The victim, Jordan Davis, confirmed through an anonymous source was with four other friends and had just left a local mall before the shooting.
Dunn is scheduled to make a court appearance at 1:15 Monday afternoon.
