Handgun and knife used in Dollar General robbery

Seffner, FL-- Hillsborough deputies currently search for the suspect who robbed a Dollar General store last week.

According to reports, it was about 8:30 p.m. Friday evening when the man approached the clerk with a knife in one hand and a handgun in the other, and demanded money from the register. 

The suspect fled on foot after receiving and undisclosed amount of money from the clerk. 

Officials have provided the following description of the suspect:

  • White male
  • 25-30 years
  • 5'5"
  • Medium Build
  • Green Eyes
  • Light Complexion
  • Last seen wearing blue hooded jacket, black bandana over face, black knit gloves, baggy blue jeans

Deputies ask anyone with any information reference the suspect to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200.
