The weather remains quite the same today as the easterly flow will bring a few clouds and temperatures near 80, but we will finally begin to see a few showers. A few showers will pop up after lunch today, mainly inland. Rain chances are slim at 10% but they will continue into the overnight. Do not expect a rainout by any means as the showers will be far and few between. Most areas will be dry.
The rain chance will remain in the forecast each afternoon through the weekend as ESE winds take over. They will still remain low in the 20% range.
A better chance for rain will arrive Monday if a cold front can push into the area. The latest model runs are trending toward pushing a cold front through the area late Monday. If this happens, we will be cooler into midweek next week, but I will have to monitor this push to see if it the model trends hold.
Today: Partly cloudy skies with a few showers this afternoon. Rain chance will be slim at 10-20% mainly after lunch today. Winds will be ENE 10 mph with highs in the upper 70s to near 80.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with a stray shower. Rain chance will be 10% with some patchy fog north once again. Lows will dip to the mid 50s most areas, near 60 by the water.
