Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Javon McCrea exploded for a career-high 31
points to lead the Buffalo Bulls to a 72-52 win over the Milwaukee Panthers at
the Klotsche Center.
McCrea was 15-of-19 from the field and pulled down 11 rebounds to complete his
double-double for the Bulls (3-7) in their first win in three games. Auraum
Nuiriankh also recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds (both
career highs). Will Regan added 10 points and seven rebounds.
Jordan Aaron was the lead scorer for Milwaukee (2-6) with 23 points on 8-of-18
shooting from the field. Paris Gulley tallied 16 points and five rebounds for
the Panthers who have now lost five consecutive games.
Buffalo led 36-21 at the break after the team shot 56.7 percent from the field
and held the Panthers to just 21.2 percent.
The Bulls increased their lead in the second half, outscoring Milwaukee 36-31
even as the Panthers shot much better from the field with an efficient 52.0
percent accuracy.
Buffalo outrebounded the Panthers, 47-23, while also outscoring them in the
paint 58-22.
