North Port, Florida -- Two teen boys were arrested Wednesday in connection with the theft of over $6,000 worth of baseball equipment from North Port High School.
North Port Police recently asked for the public's help identifying the boys caught on camera leaving with the equipment on Nov. 15 after all other efforts were exhausted.
Detectives recently gathered enough evidence to arrest 19-year-old Joshua Luff and 18-year-old Edward Hignutt and brought them in for questioning where they reportedly confessed to the crime. They were brought to South Sarasota County Jail on charges of Grand Theft and Burglary.
The equipment is being recovered by police.
