New Port Richey, Florida -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a bank robbery in New Port Richey Thursday morning.
Authorities say around 9:58 a.m., the suspect reportedly walked into the Achieva Federal Credit Union on SR 54, armed with a handgun, and took off with an undisclosed amount of money in a black Pontiac Sunfire.
Police caught the unidentified suspect about 15 minutes later in the area of SR 54 and Ellington after a short pursuit.
The suspect is being questioned at this time and more information will be released with it is available.
