18-year-old Shaneice Porter, 8 months pregnant, killed in Bradenton motorcycle crash

Bradenton, Florida (News-Press) -- A pregnant 18-year-old Bradenton woman died Wednesday night when she lost control of her motorcycle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say Shaneice S. Porter was eastbound on 53rd Avenue West when she lost control of her motorcycle after striking a curb. Porter was ejected and struck a bus-stop sign.

The bike overturned several times before coming to a stop.

Troopers say Porter was eight months pregnant and not wearing a helmet. She and her unborn child died at Blake Medical Center.

The crash happened shortly after 11 p.m.
