A period of unsettled weather begins today with mostly cloudy skies and a few showers this afternoon. A cold front swings through today but will linger in the area through Sunday. In fact, it moves back through the area on Saturday as a warm front then back through as a cold front by late Sunday into Monday finally drying us out. Until then, we will be mostly cloudy with some sun and scattered showers. The best chance for rain will arrive on Sunday. We'll clear things out on Monday with comfortable 70s into next week.
Today: Dense fog advisory through 11 a.m. then mostly cloudy skies. There will be a little more sun for areas south and east of Tampa. A few showers will roll through this afternoon with rain chance 30%. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s with upper 70s south and east. Winds will turn from S to the NW 10 mph.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies, patchy fog and a few showers. Wind swill be NNW 5 mph. Lows will dip to the mid 50s.
Friday: Starting with a little fog and a few showers. Skies will be mostly cloudy with some sun. Highs will be in the upper 60s with winds N 10 mph.
